Driver License Reinstatement Fee

At the end of your suspension, or if you’re successful in getting your license back, you may have to pay a restoration fee of $125 to the Michigan Secretary of State office. In addition to the check, you’ll need to complete and send an Application for Driver's License Reinstatement Fee form.

Keep in mind that after your license is restored, you may be on a one-year probation period, during which time new violations may result in an addition suspension of your license.
